Joan has inspired me since I started producing her radio show right after I graduated college. She has mastered the art of storytelling and making every guest feel like they are talking to their best friend. As a result, they often share things they normally would not. Every individual she speaks with, feels as if they are the most important person.

She cares so deeply about her connection with her audience and has become every listener's sister or aunt. Joan is a trusted voice. Her work ethic is second to none and she is an incredible mother and grandmother.

Shared Voices

AWM super-serves women in all facets of media. It offers wonderful opportunities for education and honors women who often do not get the recognition they deserve. I have witnessed someone getting a job right after meeting their future employer at an AWM event. I have heard from Gracie Allen Award winners who have said that winning a Gracie deeply impacted their lives and careers. The AWM Scholarships have assisted young people for years. The relationships that are built by getting involved with AWM are priceless.
