When I was young I had no idea what I wanted to be when I grew up but I knew I wanted to go to college. As a communications major, media sales appealed to me because I had enjoyed selling yearbook ads in High School and was working in sales throughout college and having success. I loved listening to the radio so that's where I focused on networking and got my first job after graduating.

My mom always supported me and raised me to believe if I worked hard - good things will come. She believed that we "make our own luck" and believed in me. She also had a successful career while raising 3 daughters and started a non-profit to help other Hispanic families in our community. She is an incredible role model and inspired me to always look for ways to grow and "do more" and to still find time to give help to others along the way.

AWM has been a big part of my professional growth. I started attending events when I was just beginning my sales career in NYC. Joining the board and moving through the EC to be Chair was an incredible experience. I was able to meet really smart people across all Media - TV, Ad tech, Digital, Radio and more - it gave me the opportunity to be involved in big strategic decisions, and ultimately allowed me to give back and pull others along for the fun ride! AWM is all about connecting, recognizing, educating and inspiring women across all media!
