Growing up I always wanted to be a news anchor. I lived outside of Cleveland, Ohio and admired Wilma Smith who was a local anchor. I went to grad school and got my Masters in Mass Media Communications and realized I wanted to work on messaging behind the scenes and went into Public Relations.

My mom always believed I could do whatever I wanted to do if I put my mind to it. She had class and grace - two qualities I greatly admire.
